An early Jens Risom for Knoll model 666 chair with a webbed seat and back. A restrained, functional design with the character and patina of an early example. Risom designed this line for Hans Knoll in the early 1940s, using military surplus parachute webbing for the seat and back during wartime material restrictions. The line was among Knoll's first furniture collections put into production.
