Sengai bowl and plate set, designed by Ward Bennett for Sasaki, Japan. The thick-walled black glass bowl is hemispherical with a short foot and a polished rim. An etched matte band of alternating circles, triangles and squares runs around the bowl just below the rim. The matching black glass plate repeats the same etched band around its border.
